The proprietary name CHS established in 1991 is, now, an intellectual property of S4H. With a clear vision in self belief the journey began two decades ago. Between the years 1991 to 1999 it was a period of consolidation of the belief, wherein the R&D was the thrust, with extensive field trials that fetched for CHS brand technology a useful  demand in Industries like Power sector, Research institutes and Nuclear installations to name a few. It was a period and phase of limited commercialization. The high point was achieved during 1997 when in an open two bid tender for a leading Public Sector Organization in India, all competing products from established world leading sensor manufacturers could not qualify the technical bid on grounds of being non-specific and non-selective to hydrogen, after benchmarking one to one with CHS Sensors. We had begun to run better than the best!!

Having executed all its contractual obligations, we took a conscious decision to break from commercial activities, in 1999, to do the extra yard beyond the basic R&D, now mainly focusing on product development phase with the integration of manufacturing, electronics and software for a global standard product.

S4H is a giant leap forward. We are expanding our manufacturing base and thereby providing low-cost options combined with high quality derived from the now established knowledge. S4H sure can beat the rest.
