MULTICHANNEL HYDROGEN ALARM MONITOR: H2CON-6

 

STANDALONE ALARM AND MONITOR FOR REMOTE HYDROGEN AREA MONITORING

 

 

H2CON-6 is especially suited for H2 gas level detection, ventilation control and alarm applications.
  • It is a remote Hydrogen area monitoring device.
  • It is applied to Hydrogen storage and handling areas where there is danger of Hydrogen accumulation resulting in explosive atmosphere.  
  • Its micro-controller scans each of the six sensors with a fixed alarm threshold of 1%, 2% and >2.5% and gives control/alarm outputs of up to three relays.
  • It also has LED front panel indicators.
  • These outputs can then be used for ventilation fan control, hooter or overriding shut-down of charging etc. for the system to take early safety measures.  
  • Front panel LED bar graph indications for each channel is provided. Thus exact location of   fault can be identified.
  • An optional feature of H2CON-6 is that it can be connected over an isolated RS485 bus with MODBUS protocol.
